This is a common question asked by many home sellers across the nation today. During this challenging real estate market it can be a quite frustrating situation. Selling your home in today's buyers market is certainly not an easy task. Here are 5 reasons why your home may have not sold and what you can do about it.
1)Price
This is the most unforgiving one. If your asking price is not in the ball park you are pretty much just wasting your time. Buyers are very apprehensive today. They have seen their friends buy homes in 2004 & 2005 only to find their homes to be worth far less today. They don't want to be in the same boat down the road. As a result, they are very scared and will only purchase if they feel like they are getting a deal.

If you have a home, you definitely need insurance to protect yourself from loss. Although this fact will probably not be a foreign idea to you, do you really understand why you should buy insurance to protect your home? If you own a home, you probably also own clothing, furniture, and other belongings that are important to you, and are perhaps even valuable. You may have even taken out a loan to pay for your home and its contents.
You need to protect your investment in the case of a fire, natural disaster, or other form of damage. If anything caused a serious amount of damage to your home, could you afford the cost for replacement or repair? A home insurance coverage policy will help cover the costs if your home is damaged due to any of the specified hazards outlined in your policy, usually fire, vandalism, and flooding.

Got this great reading today from Hazelden, and boy did it hit home!
I only wish that I had got it as it relates to my mother by the time I was 35. Man, she, and a few select other very close to me, knew exactly what buttons to push. Ive learned that it was I who allowed them to be pushed, and it took a lot of step work along with outside help for me to make real progress.
Today, I am acutely aware that it is me who pushes my own negative buttons. I am responsible for how I deal with things on the inside. Hazelden:

One of the most inconvenient and infuriating types of damage in your flat is the damage caused by water. Even worse is the damage caused by water from the flat above your own! The damage caused by a water tank can not only destroy the walls, floors, and carpets of your home, but it can be extremely dangerous if mould begins to grow. Mould from water damage can cause sickness and even death in some cases.
So, as we have it, many people who live in flats throughout the United Kingdom have experienced this very scenario - the water tank in the flat above has a major leak and their flat below is flooded. Almost every person living in the flat beneath has had the same question, "What happens if the flat above has a water tank leak, can I claim?" The answer to that question is going to be a great big happy "yes" in most cases, as long as you have the proper home insurance coverage.

Knowing the length of the growing season by using information gleaned from the USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map and the AHS Plant Heat Zone Map is very important to successful gardening. This enables the gardener to make wise choices when choosing fruits, flowers, trees and vegetables for their specific geographical area. It is knowing the average number of days between last frost in the spring and the first frost in the fall that allows gardeners to choose vegetables that will mature in their zone before a killing frost in the fall puts the garden to bed for the winter. This information can mean the difference between harvesting a bumper crop of cantaloupe or eating a supermarket melon.
