Somebody once told a very good friend of mine that she was out of her mind when she said that she was going to home school here two boys. Given the millions of dollars that are spent on the public school system each year for the sole purpose of educating our children this would seem like a pretty reasonable reaction. Or is it?

When a friend of mine announced her decision to take her two nine year old boys out of the local public school and teach them at home many people said that she had to be out of her mind.

Parents devote a great deal of time and energy to selecting the right school for their children and also often make considerable sacrifices so that their children can attend college. This is great but, in many cases, it can also result in parents neglecting the vital skill of teaching children at home.

This is probably because some garages have summer furniture stored in them from October to May, which makes navigating throughout quite difficult. Plus, during the remainder of the year, garages are under siege by household members demanding immediate access to items that are often hard to find. The kitchen is an important room in any home, but especially in a family home. More time is spent together at the kitchen table than anywhere else in the home. Plenty of time is spent preparing and eating meals. family discussions or just the casual gathering for dinner and drinks between friends on a Friday night are two common activities that take place in the kitchen. If your life is already stressful, having a messy or disorganized kitchen could end up raising your stress level even higher. Trying to organize your kitchen and visualizing where things should go can often seem like a never ending process. Constantly seeing piles of disorganized items, and drawers or cupboards that are screaming for attention is frustrating well. Keeping organized is something that you can do to reduce stress. Here are a few ways that you can be sure you stay organized, and keep that stress down.

Maintaining a clean, well organized garage is a chore for even the most intrepid organizers. As a kid, being told to clean out the garage was a task no one ever wanted the parents to assign. Very simply, this job is tough, it is tedious, and it is time consuming. Furthermore, for most people, once the garage is organized, it can easily become disorganized if proper care is not taken. In the grand scheme of home organization and efficiency, the garage may be the most important area of the house. Valid arguments can be made for the kitchen and the home office, but in the end, the garage wins out. It is easy to think of the garage as an area of the house where you store your unused items. However, until you imagine your home with all of those items taking up space in the living room, kitchen, dining room and bedrooms, you may never see the true beauty of your garage. Very simply, the garage is the most versatile of all of your rooms. The functionality of the garage is abundant and diverse. This is because each room depends heavily on the garage for its success and efficiency.
